Steroids
A downloadable game
'Tis just a silly Asteroids replica that I started back when I was 12 years old and I first wanted to get into game making, only did the basic tutorial stuff that Shaun Spalding made; as I'm taking a programming course, I remembered that I've started this thing and decided to finish it without following any tutorials, (then realized that this sort of a project became a tutorial hosted by Gamemaker itself and it's been done a thousand times before lmao)
Anyways, I tried to mimic as many mechanics from the original game as possible, this didn't take more than a total time of two weeks worth of work and studying, hope you enjoy it I guess c':
●Features time based modes and an online, global scoreboard
●Difficulty scales up as you go, just like the original
●Fancy shaders to mimic the looks of the original arcade machines
●Doesn't support the consumption of anabolics
●Beep-Boop™ breathtaking OST
●Could run on your grandma's toaster perhaps
